Dr Gurman Sond

Dental Surgeon

Since qualifying from The Peninsula Dental School in 2012, he has amassed a wealth of experience working across several roles in the field of Dentistry both nationally and internationally. 

He practices a friendly, patient centered approach offering high quality treatment from all aspects of general dental care, including Dental Implants and Invisalign Teeth Straightening. He completed his Dental Implant training in Cambridge and delivers treatment in a calm and gentle way, ensuring his patients are comfortable and in control.

Dr Gurpreet Tiwana

Dental Surgeon

Gurpreet joined Oak Lodge in 2018 and has been an integral part of the practice. Gurpreet was educated at Harrow School and Queen Mary’s, University of London, before completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at The Peninsula Dental School in 2014. 

Gurpreet offers all aspects of dental care, with a particular interest in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry from teeth whitening to modern, discreet teeth straightening with Invisalign. He also has a wide range of experience with paediatric dentistry as well as complex restorative cases and implants. He has completed an advanced restorative course with the world renowned Dr Chris Orr and brings these skills into Oak Lodge to help all patients achieve their desired outcomes.

Dr Nazan Tercan

Dental Surgeon

Since qualifying from The Peninsula Dental School, Nazan has gained a diverse breadth of experience in dentistry having worked within hospitals and general practice in the UK and abroad.

With a sincere belief in providing high-quality treatment with a gentle and holistic approach, Nazan is particularly good with nervous patients and children. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetic and rejuvenation treatments to enhance your appearance and smile. A firm believer in life-long learning, having attended several courses in Facial Aesthetics, Nazan is now aligned with the Acquisition Aesthetics academy in delivering advanced care.

Dr Imran Quasem

Dental Surgeon

Imran qualified with a Bachelors in Dental Surgery from Peninsula Dental School in 2011 and has since gained a wealth of invaluable experience by treating a wide spectrum of patients as a general dentist. In 2012 Imran passed the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery diploma and in 2019 had embarked on an Endodontic (Root Canal Treatment) diploma at the renowned Kings College University of London, passing with a distinction. 

He has gained a reputation for delivering the highest quality of treatment for all his patients with a very calming, caring and gentle approach. Imran offers all aspects of dental treatment and has a particular interest in root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry such as composite bonding, teeth whitening and straightening of teeth with Invisalign to help enhance a patients smile. 

Outside of dentistry Imran is much of a family man, with three young  children keeping him very busy. 

Dr Anthony Mark James

Implant Surgeon, Specialty Doctor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Since qualifying from King’s College London in 2011, Anthony has held several surgical posts in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He has completed a diploma in Dental Implantology and provides a comprehensive scope of Implantology practice, including sinus grafting, onlay block grafting, full mouth all-on-4/6, and zygomatic implants. He also mentors other dentists training in Implantology. He has completed a diploma in Conscious Sedation and has a weekly hospital sedation list which also involves the supervision and teaching of Senior House Officers. He is an accredited clinical supervisor in the field of dental sedation by the Royal College of Surgeons of England (STAC). 

Currently, he splits his clinical week providing surgical dentistry, implants and oral surgery, & sedation in private practice, and holding a position as a Specialty Doctor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at a local hospital.   

Anthony has a gentle approach, always ensuring his patients are well informed and comfortable throughout all treatments. 

Dr Minesh Patel

Endodontics DWSI

Minesh qualified from  University of Newcastle in 1997 and has worked in general practice in London, Essex, and Surrey. Since 2000 he has also worked across various Hospital Dental Units, alongside Consultant’s in Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry. 

His passion and enthusiasm for the Endodontic specialty has given him a global platform where he has been a clinical teacher in the postgraduate education of Endodontics in Dental Hospital and has participated speciality conferences and obtaining recognition with published articles in international dental journals. He has also undertaken further advanced postgraduate education within the field of Endodontics to refine his skills and deliver optimal endodontic treatment for his patients.

He has a very thorough approach, with a gentle and calming nature. He always takes the time to explain all elements of the endodontic treatment to his patients and is a valued member of the Oak Lodge clinical team. 

Minesh grew up and schooled locally and lives in Surrey with his wife and son. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and photography.

Moshin Mughal

Periodontal Hygienist

Mohsin joined the team at Oak Lodge Dental in 2022. He trained as a Dental Hygienist at the Military School of Dental Hygiene, Aldershot and was awarded Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2012. He has also served in the British Army for 14 years.  

He obtained an additional qualification of a BSc (Hons) degree in Dental Studies, which deepened his knowledge in the treatment of patients with periodontal disease, and thereafter completed a Master's (MSc) in Advanced Periodontal Practice from the University of Essex.   

Mohsin works in tandem with the clinicians to treat the full spectrum of non-surgical periodontal disease cases. He has a gentle approach, always ensuring his patients are comfortable and well informed. Outside of the clinic, he is clinical lecturer at the University of Essex on MSc in Advanced periodontal Practice programme and is involved in teaching and mentoring for dental hygiene students at the University of Essex. He is also delivering CPD sessions to dentist and dental hygienists on the management of periodontal disease.   

 Away from dentistry, Moshin enjoys spending time with his children and is a keen cricket player. 

Yasmin Malik

Dental Therapist

Yasmin qualified as a dental hygienist and therapist at the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy and further developed her skills in providing excellent hygiene treatments in a gentle and considerate manner.  She also offers Guided Biofilm Therapy, air polishing stain removal and other facial aesthetic treatments including fine-line wrinkle treatment, skin boosters, dermal fillers. She also carries out procedures such as non-surgical facelifts and non-surgical 3D-lipo treatments that help remove fat and reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Yasmin is passionate about oral health education and is always maintaining and updating her knowledge by attending courses. In her spare time, she enjoys socialising with family and friends and practises hot yoga and attends the gym.

Lisa Clarke

Dental Therapist

Lisa qualified at Liverpool University Dental Hospital in 2007. In addition to her work at Oak Lodge Dental, she has worked for Community Dental Services, gaining considerable experience of treating children and patients with additional needs.

Lisa currently works as a Clinical Tutor for the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy and has a strong commitment to further education, with interests in both restorative and periodontal therapies.

Dental Nurse

Hannah joined the Oak Lodge team as Dental Nurse in 2020. Working with our dental surgeons, she provides excellent care and expertise to our patients, making them feel comfortable throughout their treatment.

Debbie Lucas

Senior Dental Nurse

Debbie joined Oak Lodge Dental in 2010 initially to provide reception and administrative support. Debbie enjoyed her time in this support role and, taken with life in a dental practice and seeking to take the next step in her career, she has since completed her dental nurse training.

Debbie is an extremely caring Dental Nurse with a fantastic rapport with all patients, both young and old.

Miguel Ferreira

Dental Nurse

Miguel joined the Oak Lodge team in 2021 as Dental Nurse. With a winning combination of excellent patient care and dedication, he works with our dental surgeons to provide professional and intuitive care to our patients.

Jo Newsham

Practice Manager

Jo joined the team in 2018, adding her years of solid medical administrative experience to the team. As Practice Manager, Jo works closely with all team members to ensure the smooth running of Oak Lodge.

Sarah Remnant

Patient Co-ordinator

Sarah joined the Oak Lodge team in 2019 as Patient Co-ordinator. Having moved to Liphook several years ago, she became a patient of Oak Lodge Dental and leapt at the opportunity to join our friendly team. Sarah is a welcoming and trusted team member, who reassures and supports our patients throughout their experience at the practice.
