Phil, Christine and the Oak Lodge team
Whether you are looking for a non-invasive at home tooth whitening treatment, or to achieve a more aesthetically pleasing look by replacing a silver (amalgam) filling, the team at Oak Lodge can find the best solution for your needs.
Many of the simple pleasures in life, such as tea, coffee, red wine etc, are the enemy of a dazzling white smile!
We offer home tooth whitening treatments to combat the effects of these stain-culprits, as well as the effects of smoking, to give you a natural-looking, brilliant white smile.
The dentist will take impressions of your teeth and from these, thin flexible whitening trays will be made. At home you can then use these trays with a whitening gel (overnight or for a few hours each day – as directed) to achieve a perfect white smile!
Our tooth whitening treatment does not damage tooth enamel and you can control the degree of whitening you want to achieve for your ideal, natural look.
White fillings provide a more attractive and less noticeable alternative to the traditional silver (amalgam) fillings. They are also more versatile because they can be moulded to form edges, for example at the front of a chipped tooth.
While amalgam fillings are still clinically indicated in some cases (particularly when a very large filling is required), more and more people are choosing white fillings for the aesthetic benefit. White fillings can be matched to the exact shade of your existing teeth and can be virtually unnoticeable.
