Are you in team interdental?
According to the recent survey carried out by Denplan, ‘team interdental’ has a relatively small following - with only 27% of adults saying they are cleaning between their teeth at least once a day.
Combining regular brushing and dental check-ups is a great way to maintain your ongoing oral health. Most patients also benefit from regular interdental cleaning. Interdental cleaning – or cleaning between your teeth – is an effective way to help prevent gum disease by removing food and plaque from between your teeth.
Introducing regular interdental cleaning will help you to maintain your oral health as part of your overall health and hygiene, helping to minimise the risk of cavities and gum disease, therefore reducing the likelihood of the need for emergency treatment or antibiotics.
Due to the current guidelines, it is not possible to treat patients face-to-face or provide hands on treatment. However, we are continuing to provide a telephone triage service and prescriptions to treat infections and pain where indicated. If you are experiencing dental pain or discomfort, please call 01428 72317.
